Goodbye Iowa

Goodbye Iowa

It’s been over 7 years since I moved to the United States and I have been a resident of the state of Iowa since September of 2008 and today is the day I leave my adopted home away from home.

7 years might not sound like a long time but, in that stretch I managed to graduate high school, meeting some good friends along the way and played sports and took part in activities that weren’t available to me in my home country.

After high school I decided to stick around a bit, 3 years to be exact. I continued school while working part time but, it was just time to move on.

The more important thing is that with this move, I’m forced to put my writing on hiatus. I like writing when I have dedicated time to put into it and the move is taking most of my time. The transition might take me a while, but I’ll be back soon and  I’ll be writing more than ever.
Until then!
